Light it Up Clearwater
Presented by the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce, Light it Up Clearwater is our local New Year’s Eve bash. The pyrotechnics begin at the stroke of midnight and are a free and spectacular way to welcome 2019 to the stage. Also free and spectacular is the daily show from Mother Nature: a sunset over the Gulf Mexico.

The Tropical Party Cruise Aboard the Calypso Queen
Caribbean-themed food, drinks, and dancing are all part of the experience on board Starlite Cruises’ Calypso Queen. Christmas at Hotel Cabana
Think of it: No bone-chilling cold, no snow-heaped sidewalks and no ice-glazed streets. You could have palm trees, powdery white sand, seashells, tropical cocktails, and some of the most glorious sunsets you’ll find anywhere out over the Gulf of Mexico.
Clearwater Beach and Tampa Bay tend to enjoy temperatures in the high 60s to low 70s Fahrenheit at Christmastime. Winter is our dry season, so you can also enjoy plenty of sunshine and blue skies every day.
