Our Place in Clearwater History

Hotel Cabana has been part of the Clearwater Beach story since 1947, when the original single-story building first opened as Coca Cabana. Over the decades, the property has welcomed generations of sun-seekers under a few different names, including the recent North Sunrise Motel. Yet, we’ve always kept the same easy spirit at heart.

Today, the thoughtfully refreshed Hotel Cabana exudes a clean ‘50s and ’60s beach feel, with all-new furnishings, modern amenities, and a renewed old-Florida character that honors where we started without living in the past. Tucked away from the busiest beachfront energy and just across the street from an award-winning stretch of sand, we remain a relaxed, welcoming place to enjoy Clearwater Beach simply and comfortably.

Hotel Cabana’s outdoor pool, lined with white umbrellas, lounge chairs, and palm trees, sits before a one-story building beneath a blue sky.
