Clearwater Beach, Florida has something for everyone. From hiking and bird watching in Caladesi Island State Park to watching sunsets on Pier 60, to dolphin cruises on the Gulf of Mexico, you’ll find something to do each and every day.
People come to Clearwater for its year round sunshine and sugary sand beaches. Roughly 166 yards from our front door, you’ll be on the sand of the #1 ranked beach in the United States and #20 beach in the world according to TripAdvisor’s 2016 survey.
Caladesi Island State Park
Accessible by foot or boat / ferry, Caladesi State Park has some of the best white sand in the Clearwater Area. Enjoy beachside fishing, swimming and sunbathing, or take the three-mile path to enjoy a long walk or hike. Kayak among the mangroves, or picnic at one of the many tables.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Enjoy “Otter Oasis,” “Turtle Bayou,” and “Shark Pass” when you visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the area’s largest indoor-outdoor aquarium. See hundreds of species of marine life with the help of educated guides and preservation experts. Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2 were both filmed on location here!
Clearwater is an undercover heaven for sunset lovers. Pier 60 is a famous spot for picture-perfect sunsets, but don’t miss Palm Pavilion, either. Of course, you can always walk out our front door and catch the sunset from the beach!
