Genuine jazz luminaries—Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie, the Count Basie Orchestra, and many more—have taken the stage here over the many decades, and these days the musical territory covers even more ground: The Clearwater Jazz Holiday has also featured artists as diverse as Bonnie Raitt, Chicago, Buddy Guy, and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.
This Year’s Clearwater Jazz Holiday Headliners: From the Four Tops to the Avett Brothers
You can catch this year’s predictably excellent lineup October 19 through the 22nd over at Coachman Park in Clearwater: just a hop, skip, and a jump over Clearwater Harbor from our barrier-island haven here at Hotel Cabana.
Who’s featured during the 2017 Clearwater Jazz Holiday? You can check out the complete list of performers right here, but headliner-wise we’ve got a one-two punch of legends on Friday evening with the Four Tops and the Temptations; Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins on Saturday night; and Anderson East and the Avett Brothers closing things down on Sunday.
Following the Loggins set on Saturday, the festival will flare up with a hearty round of fireworks, to boot.
