When husband-and-wife brewing team Ken and Julia Rosenthal launched Pair O’ Dice back in October 2013, it marked the first production microbrewery in Clearwater. At the Pair O’ Dice taproom, you can take a peek into the beer-making facilities while enjoying some of the top-quality product. That product includes a heady lineup of year-round brews—Clearwater Honey Cream, Lucky Lucy Strawberry Blonde, Lowball IPA, Hop Bet Red, and Little Joe Stout—as well as various seasonal creations, including the current autumn offering of Shooter Brown.
Big Storm Brewing Company (12707 49th Street, Tampa)
Big Storm has taken the Sunshine State brewing scene by, well, storm since its establishment back in 2012, and now Clearwater can lay claim to its own 16,000-square-foot branch from wildflower honey to a variety of citrus, local Florida ingredients frequently find their way into the brewery’s beers, which number better than 20 and include the winner of the 2016 Best Florida Beer Championship: the Oktoberfest Marzen Lager. Big Storm Brewing Co.’s Pinellas Tap Room is open each and every day of the week, so no excuses for not sampling this epically good craft beer while on a Hotel Cabana getaway!

With two locations serving small-batch brews, 7venth Sun Brewery is a locals’ favorite. The Dunedin location is a short drive, Trolley Ride or Uber/Lyft away.
