Introducing Pier 60
Pier 60 itself is a 1,080-foot-long fishing pier jutting out into the sparkling waters of the Gulf. It’s a pleasant boardwalk simply to stroll, but this is also one of the area’s great places to cast for some of the gamefish Greater Tampa Bay is known for: redfish, spotted trout, silver trout, Spanish mackerel, tarpon, flounder, snook, snapper, and more. The ample lighting makes Pier 60 ideal for night angling, too. You’ll find a well-appointed bait house on site.

Pier 60 is a perfect spot to enjoy one of Clearwater Beach’s famous sunsets. The “Sunsets at Pier 60” event is a nightly, family-friendly festival anchored by the sundown show and also involving loads of buskers—musicians, stilt-walkers, fire-eaters, jugglers, and more—and arts-and-crafts vendors.
